MND Global Day, 21 June

Each year, MND associations across the globe mark 21 June as a special day of recognition, acknowledging the impact motor neurone disease has on people around the world.

This date is selected for the special reason that it marks a solstice – seen by many as a turning point in the year – the start of a new season of hope.

The International ALS Alliance encourages all ALS/MND Associations around the world to undertake a range of activities to express their hope that this day will be another turning point in the search for cause, treatment and cure of ALS/MND.
