Motum - posture, seating and mobility

A one-stop shop for clinical expertise and clever equipment

Motum stocks an extensive range of clever, off-the-shelf seating and mobility equipment for infants, children and adults. We can also help to customise equipment so that it offers optimal fit and functionality.

We are therapists, not sales people

We have over 30 years’ combined clinical experience in supporting people with a broad range of seating and mobility needs.

We know what makes a difference

The combination of the right fit and the right equipment can be life-changing for not just the individual, but also their support network too.

Hands on experience

We’ve seen wear and tear on almost every brand of equipment there is – our range has been carefully selected because we feel that these are some of the best products available right now.

We move too

Motum offers a fully mobile service if you need it – this includes visits around Perth and to regional WA.

Meet the team: Andrew Bright - Clinical Director BSc (Occupational Therapy), BA (Media & Information), PGCert (Education) Before founding Motum, Andrew gained 20 years of clinical experience working for charities and the public health system in Australia and the United Kingdom, specialising in complex postural seating and ergonomics. He also spent a number of years lecturing Occupational Therapy at the University of West England but returned to the clinical field after missing the hands-on nature of the work. Andrew’s passion for mobility extends beyond the working week - his love of mountain biking and windsurfing means that he can often be found in the great outdoors.
