Leeuwin Ultimate Challenge

Leeuwin is proud to be the only tall ship in Western Australia to offer an ocean adventure voyage specifically designed for young people with limitations. Participants have the opportunity to experience the thrill of tall ship sailing in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Individuals meet new friends, learn new skills and increase self confidence on this exciting, inspiring and rewarding five-day adventure.

We are looking for 24 young people with physical, sensory or intellectual limitations to join an open age voyage. In addition, we also welcome 16 support trainees (18+) to sail the ship equally as participants, providing support, care and assistance when required.

Departs Wednesday 8th March - Fremantle

Returns Sunday 12th March - Fremantle

In 2017, the Ultimate Challenge voyage fare per person, for the 24 young trainees and the 16 carers, is $1,500. This fare represents a substantial discount on the actual cost of the voyage to the Foundation, which remains determined to ensure this wonderful opportunity remain in its schedule.

Each applicant for the Ultimate Challenge for March 2017 must be willing to secure their berth with a payment of $1,500 upon being approved.
