Casual Support Workers - Private Arrangement

Support Worker:

I am looking to recruit a suitably qualified Support Worker for a private arrangement based in Atwell, Yangebup & East Victoria Park.

The family in ATWELL require support on a casual basis for their son, aged 10. Applicants need to have previous experience working with children with Autism.

The hours required are 4 hours/week during school holidays (flexible days) and 3 hours a week during school term on a Tuesday afternoon.

Support is more flexible during the school holidays with the view of 1x8 hour shift per fortnight.

The family in YANGEBUP require flexible support on a casual basis for their son who is 16. Applicants need to have previous experience working with adolescents with Autism. The hours required are around 4-6 per week during the weekdays.

The family in EAST VICTORIA PARK require flexible support on a casual basis for their son who is 10. Applicants need to have previous experience working with adolescents with Autism. The hours required are around 4-6 per week during the weekdays.

About the Role:

The role of the Support Worker will be as individual as the people you support.

One of the most important aspects of your role will be to support people with Autism reach their goals and aspirations.

About you:

You will need some basic skills and attributes to be eligible and successful in these roles:

·An understanding of and strong desire to work with individuals with Autism

·Superior planning, organising and time management skills

·Loads of enthusiasm, energy and adaptability

·Ability to engage with and support an individual in their fun and entertaining pursuits, as well the activities of everyday life

·A willingness to go that extra mile whilst remaining motivated and focused

·Willingness to transport individuals in your 4 door car
