Physiotherapist - Aimee Dawson

Aimee is a Physiotherapist with over 7 years of experience working in the Disability Sector in Perth and Broome. As an experienced clinician, Aimee provides assessment and intervention expertise for children and young adults at the PATCHES clinic in Nedlands.

She has experience working with children and young adults with a range of different disabilities, including FASD, Autism, GDD, ID, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and other rare conditions.

As a physiotherapist Aimee is trained to assess and treat problems with how the body moves. Physiotherapy assesses movement, coordination and posture. Physiotherapists work with children and families and can recommend treatments using exercises, play, and special equipment.

Aimee is trained in the Alert Program which is designed to assist children and young adults with self-regulation so that they can participate in daily tasks more effectively.
